Built from the shell out.
Every Blue Agave pool is a shotcrete shell with steel sized by an engineer, not a template. What goes on top of that shell is where your taste comes in; what is under it is where our reputation lives.
In every build
- Engineer-stamped structural plans for your soil, not a stock detail
- Shotcrete shell with pressure-tested plumbing before it is buried
- Variable-speed pump and cartridge or DE filtration, named by model in the bid
- Pebble interior with a manufacturer surface warranty
- Automation you can run from your phone, set up before we leave
- 28-day startup chemistry program, every visit by our crew
Decisions we will walk you through
- Perimeter overflow or conventional edge, and what the slope allows
- Baja shelf sizing: measured off your actual furniture, not a default
- Spa: attached, detached, raised, and how fast you want it hot
- Salt or mineral sanitation, and the honest tradeoffs of each
- Heater sizing for October-to-May swimming versus summer-only
- Depth profile: diving pools, play pools, and lap lanes that fit the lot
Why we only build concrete
Fiberglass and vinyl pools are cheaper and faster, and some builders here do good work with them. We do not build them. In this soil and this sun, a shotcrete shell is the version we are willing to warrant for the long haul and the only one we would put in our own yards. If your project calls for something else, we will say so at the site walk and point you to someone honest.
The desert is the design brief
Evaporation here runs a quarter inch a day in June, so we pipe every pool for a future autofill even when one is not in the budget. West-facing water needs shade to be usable in summer, so we model the sun path before we place the shelf. Monsoon dust means we size skimmers generously and put the equipment where you can reach it without crawling. None of this is exotic. It is just what sixteen years in one valley teaches.
Considering a full backyard? Most of our pool clients pair the build with a ramada, kitchen, or fire feature, and the trenching gets shared. If you have an existing pool, start with remodels.
